Executive Director Maria Martin Earns Special Designation
Back to Top
Congratulations to Maria Martin, Executive Director of Brightview Concord River in Billerica, Massachusetts, for passing the Senior Living Certification exam and earning her Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) designation.
Maria joins nine other associates from Brightview Senior Living who have also passed the exam and earned their CDAL designations.
A high standard credential for professionals in the senior living profession, the CDAL certification attests that Executive Directors have the relevant, measureable, and industry recognized knowledge to excel in their field. The credential is offered throughout the senior living industry by the Senior Living Certification Commission (SLCC), a non-profit organization dedicated to professional development initiatives for senior living executives and staff members and was created to assure residents and family members that their respective Executive Director has achieved advanced certification in the industry.
Maria has been working at Brightview Concord River since 2009 where she began working as a Business Office Manager and worked her way up to the Executive Director role. Prior to joining Brightview, she worked as the Director at a human service agency providing services and supports to families caring for a family member with developmental disabilities.
The community – located at 199 Concord Road – features Assisted Living and Dementia Care and opened in November 2009.
