Resident-made Blankets Help Children in Need at Area Hospital

Brightview Bel Air Alzheimer's Care and Assisted Living Blanket Creative Activity Bel Air MD

Another batch of fleece blankets lovingly created by Assisted Living resident Sis Knapp and other residents in the Blanketeers Club are piled high and ready for donation.

They will soon be delivered to children at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.

"Giving back is important to us," explains Sis. "We want to help others and make a difference in their lives. It makes us feel good."

"Residents receive the nicest of thank you notes from children and their families," adds Taylor Zimmerman, Vibrant Living Director.

"They tell us how special and warm the blankets made them feel during their hospital stay.
