Helping Others in Need

Clothing, toiletries, paper products, and food were among the items in the large boxes residents at Brightview East Norriton packed and delivered to the Norristown Hospitality Center.
Seventeen boxes were donated to the center that provides basic needs and social services to empower those experiencing homelessness and poverty.
“This is one of the best things we’ve ever done,” exclaimed resident Dot W. “I was thrilled to be able to help this effort and organize, pack and deliver the items. It was a great success.”
“It really was an extraordinary experience,” adds Elena Wilson, Vibrant Living Director. “We’ve been packing the abundance of items collected during our month-long Clothing and Goods Drive. Then, a group of residents and associates delivered our donation to the center. Jen Mathews, the Development Coordinator, was gracious to give us a tour and talk about volunteer opportunities for our residents.”
“This project was an unbelievable success, and I’d like to extend many thanks to the community, family members, and friends that made it possible. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with the center.”
