Seared Duck Magret with Raspberry Gastric, Seared Ahi Tuna with Asian Coleslaw, and Garlic white wine sauce with Mussels are a sampling of the delectable cooking demonstrations each month at Brightview Severna Park.
On Thursdays at 2:00pm, residents are invited to join Chef extraordinaire Stephan Giannoni, Dining Services Director, at the community in Severna Park, Maryland, and his Executive Chef Doug Carberry for the interactive and even tastier food presentations.
“We are so fortunate to have Stephan at the community,” remarked Betty, who loves attending the demonstrations. “With each meal, we are on a culinary world tour. The food is really incredible.”
Stephan, a classically-trained French chef, was named Best Apprentice of the Loire department and worked in the finest kitchens in France. He has created unique showpieces for a Presidential Inaugural Ball. Doug is also a classically trained graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and is an expert in old-school Maryland-style traditions.
During one of the upcoming demonstrations, the talented duo will share the secrets to delicious crab balls with rémoulade sauce and sea bass ceviche.
