After limited celebrations in March 2020, our Brightview Senior Living communities are looking forward to an energizing St. Patrick’s Day! Check out the plans from a few of our communities.
Brightview Rolling Hills & Brightview Catonsville
Brightview Rolling Hills and Brightview Catonsville were treated to an early St. Patrick's Day celebration thanks to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore. Residents sipped four Guinness brews and learned about the history of Guinness during their virtual tasting experience.
After Brightview Shelton’s St. Patrick’s casino celebration was limited in 2020, the community is kicking it up a notch this year. The community is hosting a Pot of Luck Casino, complete with a roulette wheel, craps table, and professional dealers. Residents will have the opportunity to exchange their chips for raffle tickets to win prizes.
Later in the month, Brightview Shelton is hosting its popular Passport to Adventure program. This month, residents will “fly” to Ireland and enjoy a day of celebrating Irish culture. After watching a documentary about Ireland and enjoying an Irish dinner, a local Irish dance studio will perform for the residents.
The competitive residents from Brightview Baldwin Park will enjoy a Luck of the Irish extravaganza. Residents will search for hidden shamrocks during a scavenger hunt, along with other games. Later in the week, the community is hosting an Open Mic night, giving residents and associates a chance to share their talents and perform. They will also play Irish music to get everyone dancing and moving!
Brightview Bel Air is kicking off the day with a community-favorite trivia vendor. A local performer will play music for the community’s St. Patrick’s Day party. Residents will enjoy a minty treat during the Shamrock Shake Social and an Irish-themed dinner with Pot of Gold cocktails later in the evening. They will close out the day with a leprechaun dice game.
Brightview Bel Air is excitedly looking forward to other spring holidays as well. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in fun Easter baking and candy making. For Mother’s Day, the community is planning on hosting a garden party in their beautiful courtyard. In June, Brightview Bel Air is contemplating a burger and bourbon tasting for Father’s Day.
