On behalf of Bonnie and all of Wayne L.'s family, we want to formally acknowledge our deep gratitude to you and to the staff of the Wellspring Village™ for the excellent care Wayne received while he was a resident with you the last fifteen months of his life.
In her thank-you notes to people who acknowledged Wayne's passing, Bonnie included this message, "the staff at Brightview loved and respected him [Wayne], as he did them. And we all know how difficult it is to be nice when you don't feel well. But for the most difficult phase of his life, the Wellspring staff said that he was always a gentleman. (I do think that might be a bit of a stretch.) I can't say enough good things about Brightview and the Wellspring staff."
When we first moved Wayne to Brightview Westminster Ridge in August of 2020, we were not sure how he would adjust. We were reassured by you and the staff, especially on move-in day, and indeed, his transition went well. Whenever we visited with Wayne, we could tell that he was thriving as much as possible for someone in declining health and was very well taken care of. We so enjoyed observing the rapport he had with the staff, whom we cannot say enough good about for the loving care they gave Wayne daily. In particular, we wish to acknowledge and say a huge thank you to the following staff members who were a part of Wayne's care team and became like second family to him: Susan F., Christy, Doris, Josie, Lyndsay, Hayley, Avery, Jessica, Susan P., and Terri.
Finally, we want to tell you how much we appreciated the leadership of Brightview Westminster Ridge and especially your leadership of the Wellspring Village™ as you navigated (and continue to navigate) the huge challenges of caring for the well-being of residents and staff during a pandemic. We wish God's blessings on all of you in the days and months ahead.
