Through a number of events and fundraisers throughout 2016, residents, families, and associates at Brightview Perry Hall raised over $6,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Maryland Chapter.
“Because dementia and Alzheimer’s disease impacts us all, everyone enthusiastically supports our efforts each year,” explains Laura Stewart, Executive Director. “Residents, families, and associates want to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.”
“Everyone rallies around this worthy cause, and, each year, we are able to increase our donation,” adds Karl Douglas, Wellspring Village Director.
“Our Spring Craft Fair, our Holiday Craft Fair, our community-based fundraising for the annual Alzheimer’s walk, the sale of t-shirts, gift basket raffles, personal donations, and so on all benefit the organization. It is extraordinary.”
Associates from the community presented representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Maryland Chapter with a big check earlier this year. The total amount raised was $6,154.32.
