Positively Impacting the Planet

Green Building Highlights at Brightview Wayne

In 2022, Brightview completed our first on-site solar photovoltaic project at Brightview Wayne. The 290 kilowatt rooftop array generates 20% of the building's electricity needs directly from the sun each year, equivalent to creating 250 acres of U.S. forests annually. The community was designed with several other sustainability features in mind including landscaping with native plants to protect biodiversity and local ecosystems, an abundance of natural daylight and views, EV charging stations, and educational signage throughout. The community’s green roof improves air quality, reduces high temperatures, and manages storm water runoff.
