A veteran of the senior living industry for over 25 years, Jen Bourgeois has led the assisted living and memory care neighborhoods at Brightview Bel Air for 15 years. She is a Certified Dementia Trainer and a Certified Director of Assisted Living and believes in servant leadership as the best approach to managing her community. Under her tenure, Brightview Bel Air is a top assisted living and memory care community in Harford County.
One of Jen’s favorite Brightview memories was back in 2010 when a winter blizzard kept residents and associates snowed in at the community for three days. She called it truly a team experience, from associates and their families pitching in to help bring in refreshed associates and clearing snow. “Residents hosted associates on air mattresses, we chilled wine in snowdrifts, and we played Wii, had dance contests, and sore muscles from shoveling,” Jen said.

- Outside of work, I like to: be with family and friends, collect seashells, cook and bake, attend sports and theater events, read, and snuggle my dog, Lou.
